My oat milk hot chocolate is delicious, creamy, and warming, making it ideal for snowy days. It’s a terrific low-sugar choice that’s gluten-free, vegan, and made from pantry ingredients!
Ingredients:
- 2.5 cups unsweetened oat milk 625g
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4.2g
- 1 -2 tablespoon maple syrup 20-40g
- 2 tablespoon cocoa powder 14.5g
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon 1.5g
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder optional
Instructions:
Step No.01
Combine all of the ingredients in a medium pot and whisk until well combined.
Step No.02
Continue whisking until the hot chocolate is steaming (but do not let it burn!).
Step No.03
Pour into glasses and garnish with marshmallows (vegan if necessary), dairy-free whipped cream, or a little dusting of cocoa powder.
